GREAT DEBATE 2009

Debates, such as the famous John Turner vs. Brian Mulroney televised debate of July 25, 1984, can provide exciting and decisive moments in Canadian history.

Toastmasters throughout the world utilize formal debates as a method to improve their reasoning, negotiating and presentation skills while, at the same time, providing educational and entertainment value to their audiences.
