2010

May, 2010: Our outgoing Area 53 Governor and our club member, Geneva Neale (ACG, ALS) was recently acclaimed by her artistic peers in this news release.

As Valley Town Toastmasters know and as anyone can see from this website's various pages, Geneva has been a very compassionate supporter of people and of the Toastmaster program.

She has made our own world a better place.

Congratulations, Geneva!

The 2010 Dundas Little League baseball season started in early May.

Devin Miller, Yolanda's son, was featured in the Sports News of the Dundas Star (May 13).

Devin enjoys all types of sports including basketball and hockey as well.

On Saturday, March 6/10, Kenrick Chin, CC, exercised his presentation skills by presenting a one-hour seminar on "Living Simple so Others can Simply Live".

He did this in front of a group of concerned citizens sponsored by "Java Talk: Breakfast Conversations with a Christian Perspective" at the Westdale United Church. Kenrick provided a fact-filled slide show and described the impact of excessive and unchecked economic growth on such communities as Westdale, Ancaster and Dundas.

As part of his Toastmaster training, he focused on delivering a clear message on that one major issue onlyImmediately afterward, the facilitator requested that Kenrick return in October for his next presentation. Great work, Kenrick!
