January 25th, join Valley Town Toastmasters for an evening of laughing and learning. Our guest speaker, local historian Stan Nowak will answer the question “Why is Dundas here?” Find us in the upstairs auditorium of the Dundas Town Hall, 60 Main Street, Dundas, ON. Doors at 6:45pm. Meeting begins at 7pm.

All are welcome. Seating is limited so please indicate whether you are attending.

About our Guest Speaker,

Stan Nowak has lived in Dundas with wife Sally since May 1999 and has been actively involved in this community since then. Stan is a co-founder and first President of the Dundas Valley Historical Society. He has also served as the Heritage Rep for the Dundas Community Council for four terms and has also contributed numerous Dundas heritage stories to the Dundas Star News and several publications.

Currently, Stan is actively involved with the Rotary Club of Dundas, Routes Youth Centre, and is the incumbent Chair of the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario - Hamilton Branch. For the last fifteen years, Stan has also conducted Dundas heritage walking tours for numerous community organizations and for anyone who would like a bit of exercise while learning more about the history of our Valley Town.

Exciting news from Valley Town!!

Valley Town Toastmasters are back to meeting in person at the Dundas Town Hall.     At Valley Town we help members grow their communication and leadership skills every Thursday evening between 7 pm. and 9 pm.

Whether you want to improve your skills at your job,  tame those ums and ahs in social media posts,  or just want to gain confidence in speaking and storytelling,  Valley Town is the place to be.

We’d love to welcome you as a guest at one of our upcoming meetings. There’s no obligation to participate, so feel free to observe, and enjoy laughing and learning with some of the finest Toastmasters you’ll ever meet.

Parking is available, enter at south doors by the flag pole, or the elevator entrance on Main street .   We are up on the 2nd floor.
