Valley Town Toastmasters proudly participated in the "It's Your Festival" celebration at Gage Park, Hamilton, on June 29 - July 1, 2008.

The festival committee was chaired by Joan McGaw, outgoing Division L Governor, and included many members from clubs throughout Hamilton, Burlington and Dundas.

Valley Town Toastmasters were represented by Gerri McManamy and Tony Bratschitsch.

Our "Speech Mobile" toured Dundas during the Cactus Festival, August 14, 2008.

Jonathan Spiegel, District 86 Public Relations Officer and member of McMaster Toastmasters, was staged on the back of the truck with an amplified speaker system.

As we moved through the 2.3 kilometer route, Jonathan spoke to the curbside audiences about obtaining more confidence through communication and leadership.

Michael Klaptocz from McMaster Toastmasters was in the forefront helping with the District 86 banner.
